I just subscribed to Paper Pumpkin last month and was thrilled to receive the cute box it comes in and with the sweet little wreath kit (which, blush, blush, I haven’t put together yet!) plus the adorable “bonus” stamp set, All about Everything.
This is the card I made with the set and I chose Real Red to be the card base and color of the flowers. I find that I use pinks for most flower cards and wanted a change from that.
The images were stamped on a piece of Whisper White cut 5″ x 3 3/4″. I used Real Red for the flowers and the centres are stamped with Daffodil Delight. The leaves were stamped with Wild Wasabi and the background “splotch” was inked up with Watermelon Wonder and stamped off. The sentiment, also from the stamp set, was stamped with Black Archival Ink.
The focal layer is adhered to a piece of 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″ Basic Black and then adhered to the Real Red card base cut 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ and scored at 4 1/4″.
On the inside of the card, I repeated the red flowers, leaves and “splotches” and completed the sentiment.
I’m so happy I finally signed up for Paper Pumpkin and hope that you will too! For details and to sign up for your Paper Pumpkin, CLICK HERE.
