Santa’s Sleigh is a carry over stamp set from last year’s Holiday catalogue and I was so happy that it is available as I really didn’t get a chance to make too many cards with it last year but hope to do so this year.
We made this card at my Christmas in August class this past weekend using the set and I love how it turned out with the use of Tranquil Tide and the Delightful Daisy DSP.
We used the Basket Weave technique for the detailed side fold. The reindeer were cut using the Dazzling Diamonds glimmer paper. As I turned the glimmer paper face down on the cutting pad, they are facing left rather than to the left.
We inked up the wreath stamp with Versamark and then with Tranquil Tide and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. As long as you use your Versamark with the color you wish to have embossed, there is no need to purchase the colored embossing powder. The Versamark creates the stickiness to allow the embossing and simply use clear embossing powder to heat set. They were then cut out with the co-ordinating thinlits.
The trees and bows were all cut out with the co-ordinating framelits from the Santa Sleigh’s Thinlits Finally we created some snow on a strip of Whisper White card stock and used the Fine Tip Glue pen to add some adhesive and then sprinkled with Dazzling Diamonds.

We will be making this card using this very versatile set for this month’s Christmas card class.

Woo Hoo another post! The mail boxes in our complex had been broken into so our mail was being held at the Post Office. I hadn’t had a chance to pick it up until yesterday and what a wonderful surprise to receive this beautiful Christmas card from Sharon, one of my team members. Thank you, Sharon!
Sharon used Emerald Envy for the card base with strips of Presents and Pinecones Designer Washi Tape. The sentiment is from Holly berry Happiness and of course it’s topped off with the sweet reindeer from Santa’s Sleigh.

Wow, I’m back with a post today! This is only the second card I have made using the Santa’s Sleigh bundle and I am so excited that it will be a carry over as with many of the other stamps that I have still unused! I absolutely love it as there are endless projects you can make with all the stamps and thinlits.
I had so much fun making this as it started out to be a very clean and simple card and when I began playing with some of the stamps, the reindeer got accessorized and the sleigh filled with holiday packages! If you don’t have this bundle, it is really one you may want to get as a bundle before the end of the month.
I used a Marina Mist card base with the Whisper White panel embossed with the Woodland embossing folder. The sleigh is Marina Mist. The sleigh overlay and the reindeer is Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper. I used several retired items, the Cherry Cobbler Candy Dot for the reindeer’s nose, the silver cord for the rein and the 1/8″ Silver ribbon on the packages. The sentiment is from Hang Your Stocking (also being carried over) stamped in Marina Mist.

I will be arranging to get copies of the new Occasions Catalogue and Sale-A-Bration to all my regular customers. If you live in Canada and do not have a demonstrator, please email me at email@example.com and I will be pleased to send you one.

Stamping is therapy and it was so good to get back to the craft table and make a card! I used this lovely Christmas Pines stamp set and Pretty Pines Thinlits for my card.
A quick card using Cherry Cobbler as the base card with a Very Vanilla mat and a piece of the This Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper. I stamped the sentiment with Cherry Cobbler classic ink on a piece of Very Vanilla card stock and used the new Stitched Shaped framlits to cut it out.
It is layered onto a piece of Cherry Cobbler cut with the Layered Circles framelits with scallop edge. The branches are cut from Garden Green card stock with the Pretty Pines Thinlits and the bow cut from Cherry Cobbler card stock. The circle sentiment is adhered to the front of the card with dimensionals and the branches attached to the back with the bow on the front to complete the card.
Christmas Pines is one of the sets that is discounted by 25% to the end of November. Be sure to check out the other stamps that are also on sale.

The Greetings from Santa stamp set is on sale this month (until November 30) at 25% off – what a great opportunity to get this popular stamp set at a discount, see details below! At my White Christmas Card class last month we made a shaker card using this set along with the Detailed Santa Thinlits (#141836, $33).
The shaker cards are so easy to make with the Foam Adhesive Strips (#141825, $10.75) introduced in this year’s Annual Catalogue. We added some sequins and other glittery bits for the shaker items. The image is from the set that we stamped with Silver Encore ink and embossed with Silver Embossing Powder and fussy cut. It’s popped up with dimensionals on a strip of the 3/8″ silver glitter ribbon from the Glitter Ribbon Sweet Sugarplum) pack (page 37, HC, #142015, $8.00).
Here’s another version of the Greetings from Santa shaker card. This is made with the Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper. Mica Flakes are used in the shaker and a few Red Glimmer cut outs from the Starlight Thinlit dies are added to the front of the card.
Here’s a list of the other stamp sets that are on sale until the end of the month – and don’t forget that you can also purchase the Stitched Shapes Framelits dies now (not have to wait until next year).

When the Holiday Catalogue came out, I wasn’t too keen on this Santa’s Sleigh bundle, but as time goes on and you see some fabulous samples, it became a must have! This is my first card using the bundle and I also had some Copper Foil and Copper Embossing Powder that hadn’t been used so it was a good opportunity to put them all together.
What do you think? I love how the Copper Foil and Embossing Powder! My base card is Soft Suede cut 4 1/4″ x 11″ and scored at 5 1/2″. The piece of Copper Foil is cut 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″ and the Very Vanilla piece is 5 1/4″ x 4″.
I used the tree thinlit from the co-ordinating Santa’s Sleigh Thinlits die and cut it out from the centre of the 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″ piece before layering the Very Vanilla piece over it. It saves on the Copper Foil as no one sees the layered foil piece. Great way to save on paper!
The Very Vanilla layer is rolled through the Big Shot using the Soft Falling Embossing Folder – it has been the most used embossing folder for my Christmas cards! I next stamped the two trees with Versamark on the Very Vanilla and embossed with the Copper Embossing Powder – so beautiful! The Copper Foil tree is popped up using dimensionals and I cut the tiny stars using the star thinlit from the same thinlit set and adhered with dimensionals.
I finished the card by stamping the sentiment from the set with Versamark and embossing with the Copper Embossing Powder.
This bundle is available for $59.25 with the stamp set in photopolymer (see page 24 of the Holiday Catalogue).

What a great time we had at OnStage over the weekend in Vancouver, BC. Over 300 people were in attendance from across Canada and US.
One of the fun part of OnStage is the swaps! It started as we were waiting in line to head into the conference room and I received so many beautiful cards. One of the stamp sets from the Holiday Catalogue that I’ve grown to love is the Christmas Pines (it’s on sale until the end of November) and the co-ordinating Pretty Pines Thinlits Dies. Please note: Only the stamp set is on sale.
Here are some of the swaps using this beautiful set. There is no name on the back so I don’t know who I got it from but it’s a beautiful card.
Here’s another with no name on it. Very pretty.
Karen Yeomans from Edmonton, AB made this gorgeous one using gold foil.
This one is from Wendy Howse of Tisdale, Saskatchewan – a full card and matching envelope! Beautiful!
While I do have the Christmas Pines/Pretty Pines Bundle, I haven’t even opened it yet! So my swap was made using the Hang Your Stocking bundle.
To get your Christmas Pines stamp set at 25% off and maybe you want to add in the Pretty Pines Thinlits Dies, shop my online store HERE.

The Cookie Cutter Christmas stamp set and co-ordinating Cookie Cutter Builder Punch is one bundle that you may want to get if you don’t already have it! Not only does it have the most adorable holiday images but I made this baby card using the bear.
I had to make a baby boy gift basket and they always ask for a card to go with the basket and I thought what a great idea to use the new Cable Knit Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. Oh my goodness – it is awesome! When you emboss it, you get this deep 3-D appearance on your card stock. Can you imagine all the possibilities?
The card base is Soft Sky with a layer of Whisper White and then I cut a piece of Soft Sky 3 3/4″ x 5″. I spritzed it lightly with water on both sides before running it through the Big Shot. Because the embossing folder is very thick, you only need one cutting plate for the sandwich to run it through. I stamped the bear image on a piece of Whisper White card stock using Soft Sky classic ink and then cut it with a circle framelit and layered it onto a scallop circle framelit. The facial expression is stamped using Basic Black Archival ink and as I had a scrap of Red Glimmer paper on my work desk, I punched out a little heart from the Cookie Cutter Builder punch. It’s adhered to the card front with dimensionals.
The sentiment is from Baby Bear stamped with Soft Sky classic ink on a piece of Whisper White which was stamped with one of the banners from Thoughtful Banners and then punched out using the Duet Banner punch.
It’s such a precious card and I love it!
