High Tide Meets Serene Scenery

!I brought out the Serene Scenery Designer Series Paper Stack to make today’s card with the High Tide stamp set.  I made a centre step card and cut the back down to form the backdrop.

The paper stack comes in 6″ x 6″ sheets with many beautiful scenic backgrounds that make your card making so easy!   I cut the sides from each side to place on the side step pieces of the card and then cut the centre portion in one piece.  I did just a tiny bit of sponging at the top of the image and sides using Island Indigo classic ink.   I love the High Tide stamp set but it took me a while to use it.

SUPPLIES:

  • Stamp Set:  High Tide
  • Paper:  Island Indigo, Serene Scenery DS Paper Stack
  • Ink:  Soft Suede, Memento Black, Cherry Cobbler, Island Indigo
  • Accessories:  Stampin’ Sponges

Tasty Trucks

This year’s Sale-A-Bration selections are so awesome and Tasty Trucks is one of the cutest stamp sets in the brochure.

We made some invitation cards for Colin several years ago with a bus on the front that moved across the card front and today’s card reminded me of it so we made this at our recent stamp club meeting.

Pull the ribbon and the truck moves along.

Isn’t it cute?   I used the Sheltering Tree stamp set for the background and just received my High Tide stamp set and added the birds from that  set.

Be sure to come back tomorrow as I have another “moving” card share for you.
