Petal Palette Black and White

I knew it would be coming when I saw the Petal Passion suite and the Petal Passion Designer Series Paper in black and white which is my favourite combination.  I couldn’t resist making this card.

How easy is it to make this card.  Simply stamp the floral image with black ink and cut out with the co-ordinating thinlit from the Petals & More Thinlits.  Cut out the beautiful “filigree” piece from the thinlits and position under the floral piece which has been adhered to the card front with dimensionals.  Complete the card with some classic pearls.

Thanks for stopping by on a beautiful mild day and happy stamping!

Petal Palette

The Occasions and Sale-A-Bration started yesterday and when I saw the Petal Passion suite in the Occasions catalogue, I was immediately taken with it.  It features the Petal Palette Bundle that has the Petal Palette stamp set and Petals & More Thinlits dies.  There’s a pair of Petal Pair Textured Impressions embossing folders, and these measure 6 1/2″ x 2 1/4″ each, the Petal Passion DSP (love it!) which is black and white, the Whisper White 1/4″ Organza ribbon and sweet Petal Passion embellishments.   What’s not to love?

Here’s my card using the bundle.

The card base is Pink Pirouette cut 4 1/4 x 11″ and scored at 5 1/2″.  I cut two pieces of Whisper White 4″ x 5 1/4″ .  I stamped the images on one panel and colored it with the Old Olive and Pale Pink Stampin’ Blends.  I then cut out the top piece of Whisper White over the areas where the images are stamped with the Petals & More Thinlits and then adhered it to the bottom panel with dimensionals.
