I have always wanted to make one of these cards and finally got to spend some time to put this together.
I used Balloon Celebrations for the card and the beautiful Blooms and Bliss Designer Series Paper. The card base is Island Indigo and I used a single layer for the base and added the balloons for a festive card.
Stamps: Balloon Celebrations
Paper: Island Indigo, Blooms and Bliss Designers Series Paper, Whisper White
Ink: Island Indigo, Mint Macaron, Smoky Slate
Accessories: Balloon Bouquet punch, Two Way Glue Pen (retired), Dazzling Diamonds, Dimensionals
You really want to have this Foxy Friends bundle as you can create a whole menagerie of animals with it. I had so much fun putting this card together and was smiling the whole time as the skunk appeared to come alive as I was putting the pieces together that were punched from the Fox Builder punch.
I haven’t made a tent topper card in a long while and this seemed to be the right layout for this sweet little skunk! I also used the Thoughtful Banners bundle, Thoughtful Banners stamp set and Duet Banner punch, for the sentiment, the layering Circles framelits for the top part of the card and the Pop of Pink Specialty Designer Paper really did make it pop!

Christmas in August – my first Christmas class for the season – seems a bit early but a good time to get a head start on some holiday projects. We used the Flurry of Wishes and Snow Place for this card and brought in the new Sweet Sugarplum In Color for the primary color for the card.
You’ll also see a sneak peek of a 3/8″ gorgeous Glitter Ribbon combo pack of Sweet Sugarplum and silver. So beautiful!
A very quick card to put together with Sweet Sugarplum being the card base color and a layer of Whisper White. We used the snowflake stamp from Snow Place. We inked it up with Sweet Sugarplum classic ink and stamped off Snow Flurry punch.
We adhered the Sweet Sugarplum metallic ribbon around the Whisper White piece and popped it up on the card base with dimensionals. The punched snowflakes are also mounted onto the card with dimensionals. Basic rhinestones on the snowflakes completed the card.
It’s always a treat when you can purchase a stamp set and co-ordinating punch and Grateful Bunch is one of those pairings.
I made this card for Kathleen’s birthday which is today – Happy Birthday, Kathleen!
The card base is Flirty Flamingo cut 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ and scored at 4 1/4″. I used the smaller rectangle framelit from the Project Life Cards & Labels Framelits dies to cut out the centre of the card. The inside has a piece of Whisper White card stock cut 4″ x 5″ and stamped the leaf using Garden Green classic ink. I stamped the flowers with Flirty Flamingo classic ink and punched out with the co-ordinating punch, shaped the flowers with the bone folder and adhered them to the leaf with glue dots. Pearls were added to the two larger flowers. The butterfly is also from Grateful Bunch and the sentiment is from Balloon Celebrations both stamped in Flirty Flamingo classic ink.
Thanks for stopping by on this beautiful Saturday and happy stamping!
Well, the Occasions Catalogue has come and gone and I am only just opening this Balloon Celebrations stamp set. Thank goodness it carried over to the current Annual Catalogue!
It is an excellent stamp set to feature the new In Colors which are so beautiful and I am very pleased that we’ll have them for the next two years. I don’t think I have a favourite as they all so striking – Dapper Denim, Flirty Flamingo, Peekaboo Peach, Emerald Envy and Sweet Sugarplum.
The card base is Dapper Denim cut 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ and scored at 4 1/4″. It card stock appears darker in the photo and IRL is not such a deep blue but rather like a denim color. The first layer is Sweet Sugarplum cut 4″ x 5 1/4″ and the focal layer of Whisper White is 3 3/4″ x 5″.
There is a co-ordinating balloon punch and after stamping the Dapper Denim and Sweet Sugarplum balloons I punched them out with the larger balloon. The others are stamped right onto the cardstock. The strings for the balloon are stamped with Smoky Slate and the sentiment is from the SAB Party Pants stamp set. You can also find this sentiment in Sunburst Sayings and Circle of Spring. Funny how a particular font catches one’s eye with all the options for the same sentiment.
Stamp Sets: Balloon Celebrations, Party Pants
Card Stock: Dapper Denim, Sweet Sugarplum, Whisper White
