When the Holiday Catalogue came out, I wasn’t too keen on this Santa’s Sleigh bundle, but as time goes on and you see some fabulous samples, it became a must have! This is my first card using the bundle and I also had some Copper Foil and Copper Embossing Powder that hadn’t been used so it was a good opportunity to put them all together.
What do you think? I love how the Copper Foil and Embossing Powder! My base card is Soft Suede cut 4 1/4″ x 11″ and scored at 5 1/2″. The piece of Copper Foil is cut 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″ and the Very Vanilla piece is 5 1/4″ x 4″.
I used the tree thinlit from the co-ordinating Santa’s Sleigh Thinlits die and cut it out from the centre of the 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″ piece before layering the Very Vanilla piece over it. It saves on the Copper Foil as no one sees the layered foil piece. Great way to save on paper!
The Very Vanilla layer is rolled through the Big Shot using the Soft Falling Embossing Folder – it has been the most used embossing folder for my Christmas cards! I next stamped the two trees with Versamark on the Very Vanilla and embossed with the Copper Embossing Powder – so beautiful! The Copper Foil tree is popped up using dimensionals and I cut the tiny stars using the star thinlit from the same thinlit set and adhered with dimensionals.
I finished the card by stamping the sentiment from the set with Versamark and embossing with the Copper Embossing Powder.
This bundle is available for $59.25 with the stamp set in photopolymer (see page 24 of the Holiday Catalogue).

What a great time we had at OnStage over the weekend in Vancouver, BC. Over 300 people were in attendance from across Canada and US.
One of the fun part of OnStage is the swaps! It started as we were waiting in line to head into the conference room and I received so many beautiful cards. One of the stamp sets from the Holiday Catalogue that I’ve grown to love is the Christmas Pines (it’s on sale until the end of November) and the co-ordinating Pretty Pines Thinlits Dies. Please note: Only the stamp set is on sale.
Here are some of the swaps using this beautiful set. There is no name on the back so I don’t know who I got it from but it’s a beautiful card.
Here’s another with no name on it. Very pretty.
Karen Yeomans from Edmonton, AB made this gorgeous one using gold foil.
This one is from Wendy Howse of Tisdale, Saskatchewan – a full card and matching envelope! Beautiful!
While I do have the Christmas Pines/Pretty Pines Bundle, I haven’t even opened it yet! So my swap was made using the Hang Your Stocking bundle.
To get your Christmas Pines stamp set at 25% off and maybe you want to add in the Pretty Pines Thinlits Dies, shop my online store HERE.
Thanks for stopping by and happy stamping! Time to watch those election results come in!
These cards have been popping up all over so I had to give it a try and this is the result. So sad that Watermelon Wonder will be leaving us next year as it’s a gorgeous color and that was the choice to make this card with the Sweet Cupcake Bundle.
And here’s the inside! The DSP is the 2015-2017 In Color Designer Series Paper Stacks.
I love this fold and will certainly be making more cards using it. The Sweet Cupcake Bundle is on page 23 of the Annual Catalogue (#142232, $54.75. There are 24 photopolymer stamps and 10 dies (on page 192). The In Color DSP Stack, Card Stock and Ink are on page 169 of the Annual Catalogue.

Thanks for stopping by on this beautiful dry day – so far – and happy stamping!
This gatefold was actually the last one I designed and I had a difficult time coming up with an idea. I had such a headache trying to think of something that my customers would like and finally I took a break and went out shopping. I spent the whole time while I was out thinking about it and suddenly the light went on! I remember a card I made several years ago using the same idea and thought I would update it with our current products.
As soon as I got home, I went to work on it and it was done in no time! Hope you like it.
Here is my original card that was the inspiration.

We laugh when my card samples for my classes often show that I have a light hand when stamping the images. For some reason, I had a heavy hand with the sand when I was making this Number of Years shaker card. I’m almost embarrassed to share it with you but I love the colors so here goes. Don’t laugh too hard! Ai ya! It looks like the flowers are sinking into all that sand! LOL.
I started with a Whisper White card base 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ and scored at 4 1/4″ . The focal Whisper White panel is cut at 3 3/4″ x 5″. I cut a circle using the new Layering Circle Framelits and embossed it with the new Petal Burst embossing folder (it’s beautiful). The flowers from Number of Years are stamped onto a piece of Whisper White card stock and adhered onto a panel of Daffodil Delight measuring 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″ and then onto a panel of Flirty Flamingo measuring 4″ x 5 1/4″. I added Foam Adhesive Strips around the stamped flowers and dumped in the sand! I cut a square of Window Sheet and adhered it to the back of the white panel and added dimensionals around the edges of the white panel and adhered it over the Daffodil Delight panel. I added some Daffodil Delight ribbon and tied a bow around it. The sentiment is from Circle of Spring. The card is finished with a stamped Flirty Flaming butterfly from Papillon Potpourri.
- Stamps: Number of Years, Papillon Potpourri, Circle of Spring
- Paper: Whisper White, Daffodil Delight, Flirty Flamingo
- Ink: Daffodil Delight, Flirty Flamingo, Wild Wasabi
- Accessories: Petal Burst Embossing Folder, Layering Circles Framelits, Window Sheets, Foam Adhesive Strips, Daffodil Delight ribbon, 1″ Circle Punch, 1 1/4″ Scallop Circle Punch, Itty Bitty Butterfly Punch

As all my previous posts for this beautiful bundle have been lost, I’m fortunate that I still have my photos and for today’s post, I wanted to share with you some of my favourites using this bundle. There is a 15% savings for this bundle in the Occasions Catalogue that ends on May 31. It’s a unique grouping as it has the Botanical Blooms Stamp Set AND Botanical Gardens Designer Series Paper AND Botanical Builder Framelits Dies for $64.25. Purchased individually the cost would be $75.75, so it’s a super deal to get it before it goes at the end of the month.
Here are some of the cards.
And this beautiful card made by my friend, Carole.
