Colin will be going to celebrate Susan’s mother’s 100th birthday today and I hadn’t made a card! I just finished this card in time.
I used the Number of Years stamp set for the floral background and love how it turned out. I then cut the numbers out with the Large Number framelits and popped them up to create the eclipse effect using the foam strips.
Happy 100th birthday, Jean!

Happy Thanksgiving to all my family and friends wherever you may reside!
I am very thankful for an early birthday present that I received yesterday that enabled me to make today’s card to share with you.
OMG, thank you to my DD, Alannah, who gifted me with the Large Letters framelits. Of course, I just had to do a card using the eclipse technique that is so popular right now.
The card uses the Blooms and Wishes stamp set and the color palette is Cajun Craze, Tangerine Tango, Crushed Currey and Old Olive. The card base Cajun Craze. The focal panel is Whisper White cut 3 3/4″ x 5″ and the mat of Old Olive is 1/8″ larger on all sides.
After stamping the flowers and leaves I stamped the sentiment from Daisy Delight in Cajun Craze classic ink and then cut out the letters with the Large Letters framelits. The letters are raised with Stampin’ Up! foam tape.
Thank you for stopping by on this beautiful Thanksgiving Day here in Metro Vancouver and happy stamping!
