I used the So In Love stamp set and emboss resist technique for this card. I like using this technique with outline images as it brings a “wow” factor to any card you make with it.
The card base is Whisper White with a layer of Sweet Sugarplum cut 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″. The Whisper White panel is cut 5″ x 3 3/4″ and embossed with the new Falling Petals Textured Impressions embossing folder. Adhere to the Sweet Sugarplum panel and then add a strip of the Sweet Sugar plum 3/8″ Ruched ribbon around the lower portion of the panel and attach to the card base. Cut another piece of ribbon and tie around the ribbon to form a knot.
The Whisper White focal panel is cut 4 1/4″ x 2 1/4″ and matted onto a piece of Sweet Sugarplum cut 4 3/8″ x 2 3/8″. Use the embossing buddy on the Whisper White panel before embossing as it will remove any static where you do not want the embossing powder to land.
Stamp the images with Versamark and then sprinkle on some White embossing powder and heat emboss with the heat tool.
Use a sponge dauber and apply the Sweet Sugarplum ink, starting in the centre of the flower to have the most color intensity and slowly move out from the centre. Sponge more ink on the whole panel to complete the focal panel. Use a piece of paper towel to remove any excess ink on the embossed portions of the flowers and the embossing pops even more.
Adhere the focal panel onto the card with dimensionals to pop it up.
