Horse & Sleigh is one of the new Online Exclusive available tomorrow! The suite has the Horse & Sleigh stamp set, Horse & Sleigh dies, One Horse Open Sleigh 6″ x 6″ DSP and Adhesive-Backed Snowflake Assortment! I made today’s card using the bridge card layout and all the components of the suite.
I started with a Misty Moonlight card base cut 8″ x 4 1/4″ and scored at 1 1/2″, 2 1/2″, 5 1/2″ and 6 3/4″. I made two panels of Petal Pink and a sheet from the DSP. The two Petal Pink panels are cut at 1 1/8″ x 4 1/8″ and the DSP at 1″ x 4″. After adhering them together I adhered them to the two outside panels. For the centre panel, the Petal Pink is cut at 2 3/4″ x 4 1/8″ and the DSP at 2 5/8″ x 4″.
The bridge pieces are cut at 5 1/2″ x 1 1/4″ in Misty Moonlight, 5 3/8″ x 1 1/8″ in Petal Pink and 5 1/4″ x 1″ and then adhered to the two sides of the card.
I stamped the horse and sleigh in Memento Black ink and used Cherry Cobbler, Petal Pink, Lemon Lolly, Smoky Slate, SU800, and the Color Lifter Light and Dark Stampin’ Blends and then die cut the image. I also die cut the blades for the sleigh in silver foil and adhered to the sleigh. The completed sleigh was then adhered to the bridge portion of the card.
I completed the card by adding some of the white Adhesive-Backed Snowflake assortment and stamped the sentiment in Misty Moonlight classic ink.
