Cutest Cows

I couldn’t resist this adorable Cutest Cows stamp set and I had fun making this card.

I used Basic Black for the card base of 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″. I cut a strip of Basic Black 2 1/4″ x 11″ and scored at 5 1/2″. I wrapped the Basic Black strip around the card base and adhered the back with Multipurpose Liquid glue.

I cut a strip of the retired Zoo Crew DSP 2″ x 5 1/4″ and adhered it to the front flap. Cut two strips of Basic White 2″ x 5 1/4″. One of the strips I embossed it with the Basics 3D Crosshatch Embossing Folder. Next I adhered both pieces of the Basic White to the card base and added a strip of Basic Black 1/2″ x 5 1/4″ at the seam.

For the focal image I stamped the cow on Basic White and punched it out with the Cow Builder punch. I then colored it with the Basic Black Stampin’ Write marker and the Light Petal Pink Stampin’ Blend for the snout and inside the ears.

I die cut the largest square from the Sylish Shapes die in Basic Black and the next size down in Basic White. I stamped the sentiment on the Basic White square and added grass to the bottom of the square using Parakeet Party classic ink pad. The cow is then added to the square with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

To complete the card I added a few Adhesive-Backed Dragonflies & Birds.
