Notes and Totes Card

The other day I posted an adorable tote made from the Notes and Totes dies. Today is a card made with the bundle to show its versatility.

Pretty in Pink is the primary colour of the card.

Pretty in Pink is one of the 2024-2026 In Colours and is a lovely shade of pink. I started with the Pretty in Pink card base. I embossed a panel of Basic White with the So Swirly embossing folder as it looks like water ebbing and flowing then die cut it with the largest Textured Notes die and adhered it to the card base.

I then die cut the tote using a sheet of the 2024-2026 In Colour 6″ x 6″ DSP. I used Pretty in Pink for the handle and other embellishments for the tote. The scarf is die cut with Basic White. The side pouch is Basic White. I die cut the pouch again using the In Colour DSP and trimmed off the bottom and attached the top onto the Basic White pouch.

For the sun glasses, I used Secret Sea for the lenses. I used some scraps from the Berry Burst sheet of Flowering Zinnia DSP to die cut the frames for the glasses and also the drink cup. I tucked the drink cup into the tote and popped it up with Mini Dimensionals. After cutting out the frames for the glasses, I used one of the hearts to add to the side of the pouch.

I stamped the sentiment from Very Best Occasions using Pretty in Pink classic ink onto a scrap of Basic White. I then punched it out with a 1 1/4″ Circle punch (retired) and popped it onto a 1 1/2″ Pretty in Pink circle with Dimensionals. I added embellishments from the 2024-2026 In Colour Shimmer Gems to the sentiment and scarf.

After assembling all the pieces for the tote, it was adhered to the Basic White panel.

Cutting Instructions:

• Pretty in Pink
  • Card Base: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″
  • Scraps for the embellishments for the tote, straps, handle etc.
• Basic White
  • Panel: 5 1/4″ x 4″
  • Scraps for scarf, pouch and sentiment
• Secret Sea
  • Tiny scrap for eye glass lenses
• Flowering Zinnia DSP
  • Tiny scrap for eye glass frames and drink cup
