Impressions Abloom Bookbinding card

Here’s a bookbinding card with an added pop out when the card is opened. I used the retired Impressions Abloom stamp set and dies for the card. The co-ordinating designer series paper, Floral Impressions, has beautiful fall colours as well as several bright and colourful sheets.

The card base is Darling Duckling, one of last year’s In Colours. I die cut one of the medium flowers in Darling Duckling and added the centre in Early Espresso card stock. The leaf die has four branches and is cut in half. The small butterfly is from the All Aflutter stamp set. There are three butterflies on one stamp image and it is stamped with Darling Duckling classic ink on Basic White. The butterflies are punched out with the All Aflutter punch. I used a small butterfly and adhered it to one of the smallest Spotlight on Nature circle dies cut with Garden Green card stock. A few Basic Rhinestones were added to the butterfly to provide a bit of sparkle.

On the inside of the card, I added two Garden Green die cuts of the large leaf on the left and three Darling Duckling mini flowers around the sentiment.
