Festive Friends Fun Fold

Today’s card features a fun fold using the adorable Festive Friends stamp bundle. So cute with elf, Santa and snowman images.

Secret Sea is the card base colour with accents of Cloud Cover and Basic White.

There are different ways to create this barn door fun fold. For my card, I cut two pieces of Secret Sea. For the inside of the card, I used a panel of Cloud Cover and embossed it with the Snowflake Sky 3D embossing folder. Below that panel, I added a Basic White panel and wrapped a length of Misty Moonlight 1/2″ Silver Edged Ribbon and wrapped around the two panels and secured the ribbon at the back with some adhesive.

On the outer flap, there is a panel of Cloud Cover card stock and a layer of Peaceful Garden Designer Series Paper.

For the focal image, I stamped the snowman image on a scrap of Basic White using Memento Black ink. I added colour to the snow man using Strawberry Slush, Cloud Cover Combo and Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends. I added a bit of fine glitter for the band and pom pom on the hat. The sentiment is stamped with Strawberry Slush classic ink.

I used a Layering scallop circle die for the base of the focal image. There are two Cloud Cover circles to create a bit of an offset layer for the snowman focal circle. These two circle layers were adhered to the Secret Sea scallop circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Cloud Cover Hues of Blue Flowers (for snowflakes) were added to complete the focal image.

- Base: 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ and 2 1/2″ x 11″, scored at 5 1/2″

Cloud Cover:
- Inside Panel: 5 1/4″ x 2″
- Outside Panel: 5 1/4″ x 2 1/4″
- Circle Dies: scraps to cut two circles
