Floral Impressions Fun Fold Card

I used the Floral Impressions Designer Series Paper to make this fun fold card. A great way to use up your DSP as you can make two cards out of one sheet of 12″ x 12″ paper.

I chose the pattern that has various flowers spread across the DSP.

The card base is Strawberry Splash which is one of the colours of the flowers on the front panel of the card.

Cutting Instructions:

Strawberry Slush – Card Base 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″; Hugs die cut – 2″ x 2 1/4″
Basic White – Arches 2 1/2″ x 3 3/4″ (cut two)
DSP – Panel – 5 1/4″ x 12″, score at 3″, 6 1/2″ and 10 1/2″
Darling Duckling – Scrap for flower die cut
Garden Green – Scrap for leaves
Early Espresso – Scrap for centre of flower

Assembling the card:

Fold the 10 1/2″ score line towards the left and burnish well
Continue with folding the next score line (6 1/2″) toward the left and burnish well
Fold the 3″ score line toward the right and burnish well
Add adhesive to the top and bottom of the 1 1/2″ strip and fold over and adhere (this will form an opening for a gift card).
If you prefer not to use as a gift card holder, add adhesive to the strip and adhere fully
Die cut the two Basic White Everyday Arches (5th largest die)
Die cut the Darling Duckling flower using the Impressions Abloom die
Die cut the Garden Green scrap for the cluster of four leaves
Die cut the centre of the flower using an Early Espresso scrap
Die cut the Strawberry Slush hugs sentiment
Add a Stampin’ Dimensional to the back of the flower and adhere to the top of one of the arches, cut the leaves in half and assemble to the back of the flower with Multipurpose Liquid Glue
Adhere the Early Espresso centre to the Darling Duckling flower and top off with a Strawberry Slush & Pretty in Pink Gems
Adhere the hugs sentiment to the arch with Multipurpose Liquid Glue
Add a Tiny Bee trinket near the leaf
Adhere completed arch to the front of the card
Stamp sentiments using Strawberry Slush classic ink on the other arch and add two Strawberry Slush & Pretty in Pink gems and adhere panel to the second section of the card
