A big snow day here in the Lower Mainland! A great day to be crafting and I just finished this card using the Irresistible Blooms stamp set that will be available as an Online Exclusive tomorrow (March 1) to share with you.
The circle die with the “vines” within the circle told me to use the book binding layout for the card together with the pretty Hello, Irresistible 6″ x 6″ DSP.
I used Soft Succulent for the card base and chose a sheet of the DSP with shades of Lost Lagoon and Daffodil Delight for the background. I die cut one of the blooms from a sheet of the DSP as well as the small cluster of leaves and adhered it to the opening of the circle. I added Wink of Stella to the bloom and it provides a bit sparkle to the flower. I used the Pearl Basics to add to some of the dots on the vine.
On the binding portion of the card, I wrapped a length of Soft Succulent Satin Shimmer ribbon over the binding portion of the card over a strip of the DSP before adhering it to the card base. I then tied a faux bow over the length of ribbon.
On the inside of the card is a panel of Basic White with a strip of the DSP.
