Irresistible Blooms Faux Step Card

Today’s card uses the upcoming (March 1) Irresistible Blooms stamp set bundle Online Exclusive using the faux step card layout.

I started with a card base of Flirty Flamingo and added panels of the Hello, Irresistible 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper. I cut a strip of the DSP 2 3/8″ x 5 3/8″ and adhered it to the faux step panel of Flirty Flaminingo. Next, I used Daffodil Delight to die cut the strip die for the focal step panel and adhered it to the layered faux step panel and added the Loose Frosted Dots to several of the large and small dots created by the die cut.

I adhered the 4 1/4″ x 4 3/8″ DSP panel to the card front and the 7/8″ x 4 1/8″ strip of DSP to the bottom of the card.

I added adhesive to the bottom of the faux step panel and adhered it to the bottom of the card base, added adhesive to the back of the panel and secured it to the back of the card.

The sentiment is stamped on Basic White card stock with Flirty Flamingo classic ink, then die cut using the second largest Diorama dies. I used a Small Blending Brush to add a touch of Daffodil Delight to the edges of the sentiment piece and adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I added a panel of Basic White to the inside of the card.

• Flirty Flamingo: Card Base: 4 1/4″ x 11″, score at 4 1/2″, 9″, 10″; Faux Step panel: 8 1/2″ x 2 1/2″, score at 3″
• Basic White: Inside: 4″ x 4 1/4″
• Hello, Irresistible DSP: Front Panel: 4 3/8″ x 4 1/8″ (Yellow dot pattern); Faux Step Panel: 2 3/8″ x 5 3/8″; Bottom Strip: 7/8″ x 4 1/8″ – these two pieces using the Flirty Flamingo DSP pattern.
