I used the Perfectly Pears stamp bundle and co-ordinating Painterly Pears Designer Series Paper for today’s gatefold card.
The sheets in the Designer Series Paper are so beautiful that it was difficult to settle on the pattern to use for today’s card. I love the new Secret Sea In Colour and chose the pattern with Secret Sea being the primary colour.

On the inside of the card I stamped the small floral image with Petal Pink classic ink and coloured it in with the Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends.

I started with a card base of Secret Sea card stock cut 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ and scored at 2 1/8″ and 6 3/8″ to form the front panels for the gatefold. I cut two Petal Pink panels for the gatefold cut at 2″ x 5 3/8″. The DSP panels are cut 1 7/8″ x 5 1/4″ and adhered to the Petal Pink panels and then adhered to the two folded card stock panels forming the gatefolds.
For the focal image, I stamped the small pears onto a scrap piece of Basic White using Lemon Lime Twist classic ink. I inked up the outline image with Old Olive classic ink and stamped over the pears image. I used Old Olive Stampin’ Blends to colour the stems for the pears. First using the Light Old Olive blend and then added shading with the Dark Old Olive blend.
For the focal image, I cut the large circle from the Spotlight on Nature dies on Secret Sea card stock. I used the 5th largest circle die from the Layering Circle dies to cut out the Petal Pink circle. After cutting the pears image with the co-ordinating die, I popped it up the Petal Pink circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals. These were then adhered to the Secret Sea circle with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I added a few of the blue toned Low Profile Sparkle Dots to complete the focal image.
Next, I prepared a belly band using Secret Sea and Darling Duckling card stock. The Secret Sea band is cut 1″ x 9 1/2″ and the Darling Duckling band is cut at 3/4″ x 9 1/2″ and adhered together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I wrapped the belly band around the card, with a little leeway to that it will be able to slide on and off the card easily and secured it with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I then adhered the focal image to the belly band with Tear and Tape.
For the inside of the card, I cut a piece of Basic White card stock. I stamped the flower image using Petal Pink classic ink on the panel and coloured it with the Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends. The sentiment from the stamp set is stamped with Secret Sea classic ink.
