Delightful Wishes Pop Up Card

The Floral Delight suite of products has a great Delightful Wishes Bundle featuring a stamp set and 19 dies in its die set. Two packages of Designer Series Paper. I was going through my cards that I’ve made over the years and came across a couple of cards that used the pop up layout. The card lays flat to fit into a regular A2 envelope. Pull down on the scored sections and the focal image pops up to make a stand up card.

I loved how it turned out and brings smiles with the bright and cheery DSP and flowers. It only took me three attempts to stamp the branch, flowers and leaves – lol – and so pleased when it all came together.

This is the card laying flat that will fit in the envelope.

Measurements for the card are:

• Basic White:
  • Card Base: 4 1/4″ x 11″, score at 1″, 2 3/4″, 3 3/4″, light score at 5 1/2″. Flip it around and on the other side, repeat the 1″, 2 3/4″ and 3 3/4″ score lines
  • Focal Image Panel: 3″ x 5″
• Old Olive: Insert Panel: 3 1/4″ x 5″
• Designer Series Paper:
  • Floral Pattern: 1 1/2″ x 4″ – cut 4
  • Diamond Pattern: 3/4″ x 4″ – cut 2

To put the card together:

• On the 5 1/2″ light score line, line up card base on the 11″ side and move the paper cutter blade at the 1/2″ mark and cut down to the 3 3/4″. This creates the opening to slide your focal image into the card base
• Fold on all score lines and add the DSP strips between the scored lines
• Stamp focal image on 3″ x 5″ Basic White mat and adhere to Old Olive piece
• Insert the focal panel through the opening
• Fold up the 1″ section and adhere to the bottom of the section
• Fold up the 1″ section on the other side and line up the bottom sections and adhere together
• Slide the middle section down and up pops your focal image for the standing card
• Add a couple of the Tiny Bee Trinkets
