If you’re like me, you always have a stack of Designer Series Paper looking for idea to use it up. Here are two of the five quilt cards I made using 5 pieces of Designer Series Paper and cutting them up and rotating the pieces.
I used the Whole Lot of Lovely DSP for these cards. I love this paper and it is retiring at the end of May. The card base is Tranquil Tide. The pieces of DSP is layered onto a panel of Blushing Bride card stock. I added a sentiment from A Good Day, punched it out with the 1 3/8″ Scallop punch and popped it up on a Tranquil Tide circle cut from the Layering Circles Framelits.
I added one of the large Embroidery Hoops from the Occasions Catalogue and also retiring at the end of May to complete the sentiment.
Here’s another card using the pieces of DSP and also with a sentiment from A Good Day. The pieces of DSP is adhered to a panel of Crushed Curry. The sentiment is also punched out with the 1 3/8″ Scallop Punch and popped up with dimensionals on a Tranquil Tide circle.
Thanks for stopping by today and happy crafting!
