Today’s card is with the Beautiful Moments stamp set that has been sitting on the shelf much too long. I wanted to show it some love and share with you this card.
I chose the triangle points layout for the card and used Rich Razzleberry for the card base. I used the Dainty Diamond 3D embossing folder for the Whisper White mat and made the triangles with the Peaceful Poppies DSP (retired). I used the 3D Embossing Plate with the embossing folder. This blue plate is now retired and has been replaced with the new Specialty Plate to be used with the new Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine – coming soon.
I stamped the image using Black Memento ink on a piece of Thick Whisper White card stock and coloured it with Soft Saffron, Rich Razzleberry, Balmy Blue, Granny Apple Green and Old Olive combo Stampin’ Blends. Her arms are coloured with the Ivory Stampin’ Blend. I stamped the butterflies with Flirty Flamingo classic ink and added a few of the Share What You Love Artisan pearls (retired).
The focal image and mat were cut with the Layering Oval dies.
The DSP is cut 3″ x 4″ and scored at 1″ on the 3″ side. Fold the corners from the larger piece to the centre of the score line to form the triangle. Add adhesive to the 1″ piece and adhere to the Whisper White panel. Repeat this on the other side and adhere to the card base which is cut at 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″.
The sentiment also from the Beautiful Moments set is stamped with Rich Razzleberry classic ink.
