It’s always nice to revisit some tried and true techniques and we used the crayon resist technique for this card recently at stamp club.
The image from Birthday Blooms is stamped on glossy white cardstock using Black Staz-on ink. Next, you use a white wax crayon and outlined the image wherever you want the ink to resist. Apply the ink with sponges over the cardstock and then use a paper towel to rub over the image to remove the excess ink and the image is beautifully outlined in white.
Adhere this panel to a piece of Berry Burst cardstock. Add the beautiful new Powder Pink Love Mini tinsel from the Love Mini tinsel Trim Combo Pack (the other color is gold), around the left side of the card and tie a bow. Adhere this panel to the base Sweet Sugarplum cardstock.
Roseanne’s Card
It’s always a treat to have club members share their cards and this is beautiful card was made by Roseanne. She used the Wetlands and Sheltering Tree stamp sets for her card. Thanks for sharing, Roseanne!
Thanks for stopping by and happy stamping!
