Bloom & Grow Anniversary Card

Just counting down to next week when we will have access to the new Annual Catalogue and two lovely stamp sets, Bloom & Grow and Verdant Garden.

I made this anniversary card for Alannah and Lynn who celebrated their anniversary last week.  I used Very Vanilla for the card base and a piece of Window Sheet for the front. All images were stamped with Versamark and embossed with Gold Embossing Powder.

I stamped the sentiment on the inside of the card with the sentiment visible through the front of the card.

I started with a 4 1/4″ x 11″ piece of Very Vanilla card stock scored at 5 1/2″.  I then cut off 3″ from the fold and cut another piece 2 1/2″ x 4 1/4″  The bottom of the card is cut at 2 1/4″ x 4 1/4″ – cut two pieces.

The top floral image is stamped on the 2 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ piece.  I used the sentiments from another new stamp set, Verdant Garden, and stamped on the inside of the card and the bottom piece along with the two bunches of flowers from Bloom & Grow on the 2 1/4″ x 4 1/4″ piece of card stock.

I then cut a piece of Window Sheet 4 1/4″ x 5 1/4″ and attached the top portion to the top flap and then adhered the large floral piece on top to sandwich the Window Sheet.

The two 2 1/4″ x 4 1/4″ sandwich the lower portion of the Window Sheet, making sure to line it up with the back of the card to make the front 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″.
