Bottled Happiness Shaker Card

I received the Bottled Happiness stamp set from Stampin’ Up! for attending an online event in April and it’s taken me this long to make my first card with it. It’s a lovely stamp set and the bundle comes with a Vintage Bottle punch. Two other fun accessories are the Vintage Bottle Shaker Domes and the Effervescent Elements.

I made an easel card as it’s been a long while that I have made a card using this fold. I seem to be on a bright pink kick as I chose Melon Mambo for the primary color of the card. The focal image on Basic White was die cut using the second largest Deckled Rectangle dies and it is layered onto a piece of Melon Mambo Brights DSP die cut using the largest Deckled Rectangle dies. I stamped the flowers using Melon Mambo classic ink. For the overlay, I used a Granny Apple Stampin’ Write marker to color the leaves and a Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Write marker for the flower centres.

On the inside of the card I used the two smallest die cuts from the Deckled Rectangle dies for the sentiment and mat. I stamped the leaf image several times using Granny Apple Green then added the sentiment over the leaves. I cut a piece of the Foam Adhesive Sheets for the backing of the Granny Green sentiment piece to give it the lift to act as a stopper when you open up the card to form the easel.

Here’s a side view of the card to show the easel. I added some Brass Butterflies on the card front and completed the card with a Linen Thread double strand bow.

Cutting Instructions:

• Melon Mambo: Card base: 4 1/4″ x 11″, score at 2 3/4″ and 5 1/2″, 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ for front panel
• Basic White: 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ for inside die cut layer; 4″ x 5″ for focal image, scraps for sentiment and piece to cover back of shaker dome about 2″ x 3″
• Granny Apple Green: Scrap for sentiment backing
• Brights DSP: 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ for die cut
