I saw this chevron fold on Pinterest and used the Ever Eden Specialty DSP (available November 2) for the folds. I started with a card base of Evening Evergreen with a Basic White mat and Soft Succulent panel for the feature elements.
To create the strips cut 5 pieces of DSP 1″ x 2 1/2″, On two of the pieces, fold top left to the right edge, turn around and repeat. On the remaining three pieces, fold top right to the left edge, turn around and repeat. Be sure the folds are crisp and tight to the edge.
Lay the first right fold strip on the left side of the Soft Succulent panel, tight to the edge and touching the bottom of the panel, next use the left fold strip and line up with bottom of panel. Repeat alternating with right fold, left fold and right fold.
Once the placement of the chevron strips are in place, adhere with your choice of adhesive.
Attach the Soft Succulent panel to the Basic White panel. Add a length of ribbon (6″) across the front, secure on the back and with a 4″ piece of ribbon make a faux bow.
Stamp sentiment with Evening Evergreen classic ink from Eden’s Garden stamp set (available November 2) on scrap of Basic White card stock. Die cut the sentiment with the smallest rectangle die from Stitched So Sweetly dies and pop up on front panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Adhere the completed panel to the card base.
Cutting instructions:
- Evening Evergreen: Card base 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″
- Basic White: 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″, 4″ x 5 1/4″ (inside), scrap for sentiment
- Soft Succulent: 5 1/4″ x 4″
- Ever Eden Specialty DSP: 5″ x 2 1/2″, cut into 5 strips of 1″ x 2 1/2″
