Climbing Roses Catalogue Case

Where do you find your inspiration?  Sometimes I hit a wall to come up with a project and then realize that it’s staring me right in the face.  In the Occasions catalogue on page 9,  is the beautiful Climbing Roses bundle.  I love the samples they’ve provided and decided to case one of them.

For my card, I used the Highland Heather gingham DSP from the Gingham Gala 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper for my card.   After stamping the large floral image using Memento black ink, I colored it with Pear Pizzazz and the retired Pink Pirouette stamping blends.

I cut the image out with the co-ordinating thinlit as well as the lattice piece.  The thinlits also have the frame on which the sentiment  is stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with White embossing powder.  I added some pink pearls to complete my version of the card.
