Here it is the 4th of September when I usually see falling leaves as they turn from the bright greens of summer to the vibrant colors of fall – but it’s steaming out! Oh my goodness, while I have enjoyed the super summer days, I am longing for e thmuch cooler temperatures of fall. It can’t happen soon enough for me!
So I thought that if I shared a Christmas card, I can imagine it being a lot cooler.
This set is carried over into the Annual Catalogue from last year’s Holiday Catalogue. It is so cute with various images not only of this cute gingerbread but also Santa, an Inuit doll, bear (great for baby cards) and reindeer. There is a co-ordinating punch that will make it very easy to cut out the images.
I used the Be Merry DSP that is in the Annual Catalogue to cut different sizes to make the DSP layer. The gingerbread is stamped with Crumb Cake and punched out with the Cookie Cutter punch. Rhinestones are colored black with a Black Sharpie for the eyes. It is popped up on a Cherry Cobbler circle and then layered onto a scallop circle framelit which is adhered to the front of the card with dimensionals.
Stamp the stentiment with Cherry Cobbler ink on apiece of Whisper White and then flag the ends and add to the front of the card.
Thanks for stopping by on this beautiful Labour Day Monday – hope you’ve had an enjoyable long weekend.
