Country Flowers in Bloom

My first time to make a card using the lovely Country Flowers bundle. I have been favoring Petunia Pop and Pretty in Pink of the new In Colors in my recent cards and felt I needed to give some love to one of the other new In Colors, Peach Pie.

I made this flap card using Peach Pie as the card base and pairing it with a sheet from the Unbounded Beauty Designer Series Paper.

I chose a flap card layout to show the gorgeous flowers and the tea pot as the focal image. I stamped one of the floral bouquet stamps from the set and the teapot. I used Peach Pie, Flirty Flamingo, Daffodil Delight, Fresh Freesia and Summer Splash for the bouquet and Flirty Flamingo and Smoky Slate on the teapot. I stamped the small flower image on the teapot using Flirty Flamingo. I then die cut them with the co-ordinating dies from the bundle.

I assembled the flowers and teapot on the flap portion of the card and adhered them with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment using Peach Pie classic ink. I added some Basic Pearls (retired) to the front flap. I also used Wink of Stella to add some sparkle to the bouquet.

On the inside of the card, the sentiment is also stamped with Peach Pie ink and I added a few of the small flowers using Flirty Flamingo

Cutting Instructions:

• Card Base: 5 1/2″ x 6 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″
• Flap: 3 3/4″ x 4″ and score at 3/4″ on the 4″ side
• Panels: Basic White – 2 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ (left side); 2 7/8″ x 3 7/8″ (flap); 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ (inside)
• Panels: DSP – 2″ x 5 1/4″ (left side); 2 3/4″ x 3 3/4″ (flap)

To attach the flap, fold on the 3/4″ score line of the 3 3/4″ x 4″ Peach Pie panel. Add adhesive to the 3/4″ strip. Add adhesive to the 3/4″ strip and line up with the Basic White panel and adhere to the back of the Basic White panel. Add adhesive to the Basic White panel and adhere to the card base.
