My first card using a new product from the 2022-2023 Annual Catalogue. It’s only taken me 6 weeks to dip into my stash of new stamps, dies, designer series papers, embellishments and trying the new In Colors – and here is my first project.
I chose the Cup of Tea stamp set as it was the first stamp set that caught my eye. In addition to the Cup of Tea Bundle, I am also using the Tea Boutique 6″ x 6″ DSP, the pretty new 2021-2023 In Color Opal Rounds, Stylish Shapes dies and Sweet Sorbet card stock for my card base, one of the new 2022-2023 In Colors.
In addition to the tea cup die cut, I cut two more using Basic White card stock. I adhered these together to give it more depth before adhering it to the Stylish Circle die cut.
For the inside of the card, I stamped the large stem image at the bottom of the panel and added a couple of the small flower images. I also cut a strip of the DSP to attach to the envelope flap.
Cutting Instructions:
- Sweet Sorbet – card base 4 1/4″ x 11″, score at 5 1/2″, 2 7/8″ x 2 7/8″ for die cutting the second largest Stylish Shapes circle die.
- Petal Pink – 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ for front panel, 3 1/4″ x 3 1/4″ for largest Stylish Shapes circle die.
- Basic White – 4″ x 5 1/4″ for inside panel, scraps for die cutting 2 teacup dies and sentiment die from the Teacup Dies.
- Tea Boutique DSP – 2 1/2″ x 2 1/2″ for die cutting the tea cup, 2 1/2″ x 6″ for envelope flap
