We’ve had some scorching weather the past several days and it’s been fantastic but I am happy that today is starting off a bit cooler.
Today’s card uses the Dandelion Wishes stamp set and the host set, Hand Delivered. When I was putting together my ribbon share, I quickly discovered that the 1/2″ Textured Weave Ribbon is a favourite. I love the two colors it comes in, Granny Apple Green and Gray Granite.
I also had to use the new Subtle embossing folder and I LOVE it! It is very subtle and adds that tiny bit of texture and is not overpowering.
I started with a card base of Gray Granite (new color and love, love, love it) and embossed the Basic Gray panel with the Subtle embossing folder.
I stamped the Dandelion image on a piece of Basic Gray card stock measuring 3″ x 3 1/2″ with Versamark and then sprinkled some White embossing powder and heat set it. The sentiment is from Hand Delivered. I added some white enamel dots on the focal image and adhered it to a piece of Gray Granite measuring 3 1/4″ x 3 3/4″. I wrapped a length of the ribbon around the Basic Gray panel and adhered to the card base. I then adhered the focal image to the card with dimensionals.
There so many wonderful new stamps etc in the new Annual Catalogue, it’s so difficult to use them all at once. Actually, I purchase them and then am overwhelmed when they arrive and so they sit on my desk as I ponder what to use first – lol.
Thanks for stopping by and happy crafting.
