Dear Doily Sympathy Card

I love the font used in the Dear Doily stamp set and as I needed a sympathy card, it was the perfect choice for this card.

And here’s the inside.

The card base is Mossy Meadow and I used the Floral Romance Specialty DSP for the focal image.  I started with a Mossy Meadow card base, with the DSP cut 3 5/8″ x 4 7/8″ and matted to a piece of Crumb Cake cut 3 3/4″ x 5″.  The sentiment is stamped on Crumb Cake with Mossy Meadow classic ink and the leaf image also in Mossy Meadow.

The sentiment is cut with a Layering Circle framelit and layered onto another Layering Circle framelit cut from Mossy Meadow which is just a shade larger than the sentiment circle.

I completed the card with the sentiment on the inside and another leaf.

Dear Doily comes as a bundle in the Occasions Catalogue, however, the bundle is no longer available as the framelits have sold out.  However, you can still purchase the beautiful stamp set (#148690, $33 in Clear Mount).
