Most of the cards made with the Expressions in Ink bundle I’ve seen have featured the beautiful pink sheets of the Expressions of Ink Specialty Designer Series Paper, but the Evening Evergreen sheet with streaks of gold is just as beautiful and so stunning.
I made today’s card using the Evening Evergreen new In Color for the card base. The Whisper White mat has been embossed with the Painted Texture 3D embossing folder.
I next cut a piece of Gold foil and to that adhered a panel of the DSP. I used Gold Foil to cut out the leaves using the Artistic dies. The leaves are adhered across the focal panel. The card is finished with the birthday greeting embossed with gold embossing powder on Whisper White and then cut out with a Stitched Rectangle die. It is popped up on the focal image with dimensionals and a few Gold Metallic pearls are added to complete the card.
Card Measurements:
- Evening Evergreen Card Base: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″
- Whisper White: 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″, 3 1/4″ x 1 1/4″ for sentiment
- Gold Foil: 4″ x 3 1/8″ (2 Pieces), one for mat, one for cutting out leaves
- Expressions in Ink DSP: 3″ x 3 7/8″
