Feels Like Frost with Heat & Stick Powder

I was so pleased to hear that Heat & Stick Powder will be included in the upcoming January-June 2021 Mini Catalogue. I missed it when it was retired as I loved making sparkly cards with it when you add Dazzling Diamonds to the Heat & Stick powder. Then I discover that Dazzling Diamonds has retired! C’est la vie – fortunately I have some in my stash so I could make this sparkly card to share with you.

I started with a 4 1/4″ x 11″ Night of Navy card base, scored at 5 1/2″. I added a layer of Balmy Blue card stock 5″ x 3 3/4″ embossed with the Winter Snow embossing folder.

Feels Like Frost with Heat & Stick Powder

I trimmed down a piece of the Feels Like Frost Specialty DSP to 4 7/8″ x 3 5/8″ and covered it with Versamark ink. Next, sprinkle the Heat & Stick powder all over the DSP and then heat it with the Heat Tool to make it sticky. Pour Dazzling Diamonds over the DSP and press down the Dazzling Diamonds and you have this beautiful sparkly sheet.

I matted it to the Night of Navy card stock and adhered it to the card front. The sentiment is from Itty Bitty Greetings stamped with Night of Navy Classic on Balmy Blue card stock and cut out with the smallest “oval” die from Stitched So Sweetly dies. It is popped onto the card with Mini Dimensionals. I made a bow with the Snowflake Splendor ribbon and attached it with a glue dot.

On the inside of the card, I added a piece of Balmy Blue card stock stamped with a sentiment from Snowflake Wishes with Night of Navy classic ink and also added a few Snowflake Adhesive backed embellishments.
