Floating Image Card

Today’s card is a Floating Image Card using some of my favorite colors coming in the new 2023 – 2024 Annual Catalogue. As soon as I saw the new colors in the Color Refresh and 2023-2025 In Colors, there were three colors that jumped out at me immediately that are going to be my favorites – Bubble Bath, Lemon Lolly and Moody Mauve and another color that is growing on me, Pebbled Path.

I used Moody Mauve for the card base of 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″. A Bubble Bath panel is cut 4″ x 5 1/4″ and embossed with the Basics 3D Crosshatch embossing folder, one of 3 embossing folders featured in the Online Exclusives.

I cut strips of Moody Mauve, Lemon Lolly and Bubble Bath in 3/8″ and 1/2″ strips about 4″ long and adhered them to a piece of Window Sheet cut 3 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ leaving a space between the strips. I then die cut the circle using the second largest Layering Circle die. I adhered this focal image on the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I die cut the stem from the Meadow Dies using Pebbled Path card stock, and adhered it to the front of the floating image.

The sentiment label is die cut from Fabulous Frames dies and the sentiment from Go to Greetings was stamped with Moody Mauve classic ink It’s adhered to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

In the Meadow Dies, there are two butterfly die cuts and I used the full butterfly in Lemon Lolly card stock. A little bit of Wink of Stella adds some sparkle to the butterfly.

The card is finished with Lemon Lolly Adhesive Backed Solid Gems coming in the new 2023-2024 Annual Catalogue. The package has gems in three colors, Copper Clay, Boho Blue and Lemon Lolly.
