I was out shopping the other day and saw a Gnome on the shelf sitting all alone so I just had to buy it as it is a perfect companion for today’s card featuring the Gnome for the Holidays stamp set. Isn’t he cute?

The card base is Real Red with accents of Smoky Slate. I was going through my cards and came across a card using this layout and thought it would be perfect for today’s card.
I started out with a 4 1/4″ x 11″ card base, scored at 5 1/2″ and 6 3/4″. At the 6 3/4″ score line, I lined up the card on the Paper Trimmer at the top of the score line and laid it on a diagonal on the Trimmer and scored a line from that point to the bottom right hand corner of the card stock. I folded it on the score line and also scored it at 1/4″ across the top of the from the 6 3/4″ score line and then 1/4″ on the right hand side before folding over the triangle and adhering it together.
The gnome and sentiment is stamped on a piece of 3 1/4″ x 3 1/4″ Whisper White. I also scored it at 3/4″ on all four sides. It is adhered to a piece of Smoky Slate cut 3 1/2″ x 3 1/2″. I used Real Red and Smoke Slate Blends to match his outfit with the little gnome. I added a couple of clear rhinestones on the ornament which is colored with Old Olive and Daffodil Delight Blends which matches the mistletoe on the tip of his hat. I added some All the Trimmings embellishments to the focal piece and brushed the Wink of Stella over his outfit.
I used a strip of the Peony Garden DSP (3/4″) and Heartwarming Hugs DSP (1/2″) on the left hand side to complete the card.
