As I was sitting in my craft room this morning I noticed the beautiful colors on the tree top outside my window so I went out and took this picture.
It inspired me to make this card to celebrate Thanksgiving Day today.
I used the Colorful Seasons stamp set. The card base is Cajun Craze, I just love this color, with a mat of So Saffron. I cut a piece of Shimmery White card stock 3 5/8″ x 4 7/8″ and stamped the leaves and some of the wisps with Versamark and embossed with White embossing powder. Next I sponged Cherry Cobbler and Mango Melody over the panel
I used a paper towel to remove any excess ink over the leaves and stamped a few more wisps with Cajun Craze ink. I added a 3/4″ strip of Vellum card stock over the front panel. I stamped the sentiment from the retired Teeny Tiny Wishes with Cajun Craze ink on a strip of 1/2″ Whisper White card and adhered it to the Vellum strip. A couple of Mango Melody dots completed the card.
Wishing all my family and friends a beautiful Thanksgiving Day.
Thanks for stopping by and happy crafting!
