At a recent team meeting, Pam demonstrated an accordian card and we were able to make the card along with her. I used the Hello Beautiful Bundle consisting of the Hello Beautiful stamp set and Beautiful Shapes dies. The co-ordinating DSP is Abstract Beauty 4″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper. Thank you Pam for your super demonstration, it was a lot of fun!
The papers in the package are pretty with shades of pink, green and orange and on the reverse side are many sheets with splashes of gold foil.
I started with Blushing Bride as the card base. I chose one of the sheets that has a bit of gold hints for the panel, using the reverse of the same piece. I used one of the Hexagon die cuts for the sentiment on the front panel. After adding some extra stamping I completed the card with the Adhesive Backed Hexagons dots.
Cutting Instructions:
- Card Base: 5 1/2″ x 11″, score at 1 3/4″, 3 1/2″, 5 1/4″ and 7″
- Front Flap: 3″ x 6″, score at 3″
- Mats for Front Flap: 2 7/8″ x 2 7/8″ ( I used one piece of DSP and the other Basic White)
- Inside Panel: 3 7/8″ x 5 3/8″
