The Naturally Eclectic Suite on pages 132 – 133 of the Annual Catalogue is so pretty. I love the colors that are shown from the Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon – Night of Navy, Peekaboo Peach, Berry and Emerald Envy to the Eclectic Layers Thinlits and the Naturally Eclictic Card Overlays! Oh, and I haven’t mentioned the Naturally Eclectic DSP!
While the images are very bright, I went the opposite route for my card share today – subtle tones.
I chose Peekaboo Peach for the card base and one of the soft sheets of the DSP to build my card. A panel of the DSP is layered with one last year’s doilies then a panel of Whisper White stamped with the petal image In Pear Pizzazz, Peekaboo Peach and Soft Sky. I stamped off the Peach and Pear Pizzazz and used the Soft Sky at full strength as it is a very light color. I then stamped the flower image using Berry Burst. I used Soft Sky to stamp the background with one of the little flower centres available in the stamp set.
The stamped image is popped up with dimensionals and the sentiment is also popped up with dimensionals. Thank you Kathleen for the layout!
Next on my list to do with the set is to cut a mask with the thinlit and use it with some of the embossing paste. Looking forward to trying that!
Thanks for stopping by and have a happy stamping day!
