Painted Poppies Reverse Easel

Of all the beautiful and adorable Designer Series Papers in the Mini Catalogue,  the Peaceful Poppies is definitely my favourite!  It is part of the Peaceful Poppies suite.

After a long hiatus our Stamp Club met earlier this week and we made this reverse easel card and I knew that we had to make it using this beautiful DSP.  We also used the new Stitched So Sweetly Dies and the new Stone embossing folder from the Sale-A-Bration Power of Hope stamp set and embossing folder.

Opened up, this is the reverse easel.  I love making easel cards the traditional way and found this sketch on the internet and it called out for this paper.

Paper measurements:

• Poppy Parade card stock:  4 1/4″ x 11″ scored at 2 3/4″ and then flip over and score at 5 1/2″, 2 1/2″  3 5/8″ for embossing with Stone 3D embossing folder,  4 1/4″ x 3/8″ for easel strip,
• Basic Black card stock: 5 3/8″  x 4 1/8″ for inside panel, 4 1/8″ x 2 1/2″ for top of easel, 4 1/4″ x 1″ for easel strip, 4 1/4″ x 3″ for Stitched So Sweetly die cut
• Whisper White card stock: 3 3/4″ x 2 1/2″ scrap for Stitched So Sweetly die cut
• Peaceful Poppies DSP:  5 1/4″  x 4″ for inside panel; 4″ x 2 3/8″ for top of easel
