The second release of Sale-A-Bration is well into the month (ending March 31) with some spectacular offerings! Today’s share features one Level 1 product, the gorgeous Flowering Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper (free with a $60 purchase (excluding taxes and shipping), and the reversible Rise & Shine stamp set a Level 2 item (free with a $120 purchase (excluding taxes and shipping).
My inspiration for today’s card are my Le Creuset Bonbon coffee mugs.
I absolutely love them and am actually enjoying a cup of coffee while I’m writing this post 🙂
I cut a piece of the Flowering Foils Specialty DSP about 3 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ and inked up my sponge brayer with Blushing Bride ink and rolled it across the top, I continued adding ink to get the right saturation. I continued this process with Petal Pink ink and finally Rococo Rose ink at the bottom to create the ombre look on the DSP.
Next, I cut it out with the third largest Stitched Rectangle die. I cut a piece of Smoky Slate card stock with the second largest Stitched Rectangle die, adhered the mats together and then onto the card front of a Rococo Rose card base
Next stamp the cup images using Rococo Rose ink onto Whisper White and as they are reversible, you simply turn the stamp over and stamp the second image and the handle appears on the opposite side. So neat!
The cups are cut out with the Cup of Cheer dies that were first introduced in last year’s Holiday catalogue and are available in the current Annual Catalogue. I finished the card by stamping two of images from the Rise & Shine stamp set in Smoky Slate ink.
