Sending You Thoughts – Tropical Birthday

We had no snow over the weekend until dinner time on Sunday night and we awoke to icy streets and a very, very cold wind.  Winter is definitely here!  While we did experience a heavy snowfall in sunny South Surrey, other areas were hit with a more significant snowfall and treacherous driving conditions so it was nice to be able to stay home and craft!

Again I wanted some sunny thoughts and with the wonderful new offerings in the Mini Catalogue and Sale-A-Bration, I combined three items from those brochures for today’s card.

I started with a Mango Melody card base.

The Whisper White layer has embossed with the new Coastal Weave Embossing Folder from the Mini Catalogue.  I cut a strip of the gorgeous Tropical Oasis DSP to layer onto a strip of Mango Melody card stock.  The sentiment is from the Sending You Thoughts Sale-A-Bration stamp set.  This set can be one of your free items with a $60 order!

I finished off the card by cutting the sentiment with the Layering Circle dies, adhered it to a scallop circle also from the Layering Circle dies and added some retired Tutti Fruitti sequins.   I wrapped some Linen Thread around the focal panel and then popped up the sentiment with dimensionals.
