Sophisticated Sled

Lace up the skates using the Sophisticated Sled stamp set. This is another wonderful holiday stamp set that has several great die cuts to create a sled and the ice skates.

The card base is Real Red. On the card front is a panel of Real Red that was embossed with the Forever Plaid 3D embossing folder. I used two of the die cuts to make up the sled. The skates are die cuts for the boots, laces and blades. Everything just clicks together to form the skates – such a neat stamp set! In addition there are die cuts for the leafy boughs.

I cut a rectangle of Basic White card stock using the Deckled Rectangle dies and also die cut the same size using the white vellum from the Graceful Greenery Vellum DSP and adhered them together. The sentiment is from the retired Joyful Flurry stamp set. It is stamped on a banner die cut from the Stylish Shapes dies. I also used retired Red Ribbon to form the bow.
