The Cookie Cutter Christmas stamp set and co-ordinating Cookie Cutter Builder Punch is one bundle that you may want to get if you don’t already have it! Not only does it have the most adorable holiday images but I made this baby card using the bear.
I had to make a baby boy gift basket and they always ask for a card to go with the basket and I thought what a great idea to use the new Cable Knit Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. Oh my goodness – it is awesome! When you emboss it, you get this deep 3-D appearance on your card stock. Can you imagine all the possibilities?
The card base is Soft Sky with a layer of Whisper White and then I cut a piece of Soft Sky 3 3/4″ x 5″. I spritzed it lightly with water on both sides before running it through the Big Shot. Because the embossing folder is very thick, you only need one cutting plate for the sandwich to run it through. I stamped the bear image on a piece of Whisper White card stock using Soft Sky classic ink and then cut it with a circle framelit and layered it onto a scallop circle framelit. The facial expression is stamped using Basic Black Archival ink and as I had a scrap of Red Glimmer paper on my work desk, I punched out a little heart from the Cookie Cutter Builder punch. It’s adhered to the card front with dimensionals.
The sentiment is from Baby Bear stamped with Soft Sky classic ink on a piece of Whisper White which was stamped with one of the banners from Thoughtful Banners and then punched out using the Duet Banner punch.
It’s such a precious card and I love it!
