A window card is a pretty and easy card to make and today’s card uses the Artistically Asian stamp set.
You only need two pieces of card stock cut 4 1/4″ x 5″ and score at 1/2″, 1″, 4 1/2″ and 5″ on both pieces. I stamped the bamboo image using Versamark on the Peekaboo Peach card stock piece to give it a subtle background.
Use the 2 1/2″ Circle punch and centre it on the Peekabook Peach piece and put the card stock right to the bottom of the circle. The reason for putting right to the edge of the circle is that I wanted to stamp the sentiment towards the bottom. (You could just centre the punch in the centre of the card stock).
I flipped the piece over so that there was more space at the bottom of the card stock to stamp the sentiment.
Position the Peach card stock over the Whisper White card stock and gently mark the outer rim of the circle to give you a visual to stamp your image. After stamping the image, erase the pencil marks.
I inked up the image with Peekaboo Peach and Old Olive markers and huffed on it before stamping on the card stock. The sentiment is stamped with Old Olive classic ink and pearls were added to complete the card.
Fold on the score marks on both pieces of card stock and adhere the edges with Tear and Tape. Bend the score lines to create a window effect.
Thanks for stopping by today and happy stamping!
