Textured Notes

The Textured Notes bundle is part of the Botanical Textured Suite. This suite is available only in the Online Exclusives. It has some two packages of Designer Series Papers, Botanical Textures in shades of black, grey and white and Woven Textures in shades of brown and many other accessories. I used some of the patterns from the Woven Textures DSP for this card.

I used the card that Stampin’ Up! used in its promotion of the suite as inspiration for my card. The card base is Pecan Pie with panels of the DSP. There are eight dies as part of the bundle that are rectangle with different patterns around the perimeter of each of the dies. I used the third largest to die cut a piece of the DSP. I stamped a few of the woven pattern stamp on the DSP in Crumb Cake classic ink to provide a bit of background to the panel. Next, I stamped the circle stamp with a woven pattern also using Crumb Cake ink. I inked up the small branch stamp with Old Olive and stamped two images over the circle and then stamped the larger leave using Mossy Meadow classic ink.

I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Pecan Pie and wrapped some Linen Thread around the focal image. I used the sentiment from Beautiful Butterflies and stamped it with Pecan Pie ink on Basic White and die cut it using the small frame from the Unbounded Love dies.

I love the sentiments from the Textured Notes set but when you order the stamp set in French (ugh!), I had to pivot to other products to add the sentiment to the card.

I popped the completed focal panel onto the card front, placing it a little off centre. I then finished the card front with some Neutral Stamp Dots, also part of the suite.

I added a Basic White panel stamped with two images of the small leaves on the inside of the card.

- Dark Woven Pattern: 4″ x 5 1/4″
- Light Textured Pattern: 2 3/4″ x 4 3/8″ for die cut
Basic White:
- Inside: 4″ x 5 1/4″
- Scrap for sentiment
