Timeless Arrangements

I had a great time making today’s card with all the various dies for the flower arrangements. I chose Blackberry Bliss for the card base with accents of Bubble Bath and Moody Mauve. The die set has four different flower arrangements and they work together very well with no overlapping of the leaves. I also added a few sprigs using Vellum Basics.

I started with Blackberry Bliss for the card base cut 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2, scored at 4 1/4″ then added a panel of Bubble Bath cut 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″. On the Moody Mauve panel cut 5″ x 3 3/4″ I embossed it with the retired Tasteful Textiles 3D embossing folder.

I cut strips of Blackberry Bliss, Bubble Bath and Moody Mauve 3 1/4″ wide and die cut two each of the four leaf arrangements and die cut some sprigs using a sheet from the Vellum Basics. I assembled the four leaf arrangements starting with Bubble Bath, then Moody Mauve and Blackberry Bliss. I prepared two of these arrangements to adhere to the Basic White sentiment piece which was die cut with one of the dies from the set. I combined the “thank you” with the other saying on one block and inked it up with Moody Mauve for the sentiment. These two arrangements are attached at the top and bottom and the sides are filled in with the Basic Vellum pieces. The focal piece is then adhered to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels are added to the sentiment piece. I also touched up the leaves with Wink of Stella to give them a bit of shimmer.
