Tres Chic Beautiful You!

Tres Chic!  That’s the way I would describe this Beautiful You card.  So stylish in her Navy dress.  For this card, I used the paper piecing technique.

The card base is Night of Navy card at 4 1/4″ x 11″ and scored at 5 1/2″.  On the Whisper White layer cut 4″ x 5 1/4″ I added a strip of the Floral Boutique DSP cut 2″ x 5″.

I stamped the lady image using Basic Black Archival ink on a piece of Whisper White cut using the square Stitched Shapes Framelits  (measures at 2 1/8″x 2 1/8″).   For the paper piecing, stamp the image again on a scrap piece of the DSP and fussy cut the dress and hat and adhere it to the stamped image.

Adhere it to a piece of Night of Navy cut with the Layering Squares Framelits (measures 2 5/8″ x 2 5/8″) and then pop it onto the card using dimensionals.  Complete the card with the sentiment stamped using Night of Navy classic ink.
