This beautiful Two-Tone Flora stamp set bundle is being carried over from the Mini Catalogue to the 2023-2024 Annual Catalogue. It is part of the Fancy Flora Suite that also includes the Something Fancy suite. I used the rich colors of the Orchid Oasis from the current In Colors and Fresh Freesia from the retiring In Colors. Fresh Freesia is not going away as it will become one of the core colors in the Subtles group!
The card base is Orchid Oasis and the layers are Basic White and Fancy Flora 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper. The card base measures 11″ x 5 1/2″. On the long side, score at 1 1/4″ and 3 3/8″ at both ends.
The Basic White panels are cut 5 3/8″ x 1 7/8″ (cut 2) for each front outer panels; 5 3/8″ x 1 1/8″ (cut 2) for each front folded panels. The layering DSP panels are cut 5 1/4″ x 1 3/4″ (cut 2) and 5 1/4″ x 1″ (cut 2). Assemble these panels and adhere to the outside of the card.
I cut a piece of Basic White 5 1/4″ x 4″ for the inside of the card and stamped the small flowers using Fresh Freesia ink and Daffodil Delight. The Orchid Oasis belly band is cut 11″ x 1″ and the Fresh Freesia strip is cut 11″ x 7/8″.
I stamped two medium size flowers using Orchid Oasis stamped off for the solid portion of the flowers and full strength for the outline and used Fresh Freesia for the single medium size flower. I colored the centre of the flowers with the Daffodil Delight light Stampin’ Blend. The leaves are stamped with Soft Sea Foam ink on Soft Sea Foam card stock. These flowers and leaves are popped onto a small Orchid Oasis circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals and completed the focal images using Wink of Stella to give them a nice shine!
