Two Tone Flora

The new Mini Catalogue and Sale a Bration start today and I couldn’t decide which of the lovely new offerings to share with you today. I chose the Fancy Flora suite of products as I love the background die from the Two Tone Flora Bundle that sits beautifully over a piece of the Fancy Flora Designer Series Paper.

I started with a card base of Soft Sea Foam and also die cut the intricate background die with the same color. There were so many beautiful shades in the DSP and the Soft Sea Foam card stock matched the piece that had shades of Calypso Coral, Pool Party and Soft Sea Foam.

There are four flower shapes in the stamp set, an outline stamp and the filler image stamp. Being a photopolymer set, it was easy to match up the filler with the outline stamp. I stamped the large flower with Real Red for the outline and Sweet Sorbet, stamped off for the filler. On the medium flower I used Flirty Flamingo for the outline and then stamped off for the filler and on the smallest flower, I used Blushing Bride for the outline and stamped off for the filler. The leaves are stamped in Pear Pizzazz.

I attached the die cut over the DSP with liquid glue and arranged the flowers and sentiment on the card front. The sentiment and die cuts for the sentiment pieces are from the Something Fancy bundle which is part of the Fancy Flora suite. I completed the card with some of the Iridescent Pastel Gems also part of this suite.

Cutting Instructions:

• Soft Sea Foam: Card Base 4 1/4″ x 11″, score at 5 1/2″, Die Cut: 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ for intricate die cut and trim the 5 1/2″ side 1/16″ of an inch on from each end so that it covers the front of the card base.
• Basic White: 4″ x 5 1/4″ for inside of card. Scraps for flowers and leaves and sentiment
• Flirty Flamingo: 1 3/4″ x 3″ for sentiment die
• Fancy Flora DSP: Card Front 4 1/4″ 5 1/2″
