At Stamp Club and Coffee and Cards we used the Verdant Garden stamp set to make flag cards I and love the way the cards turned out. We used two different sheets at Stamp Club of the Garden Lane Designer Series Paper and at Coffee and Cards we used another sheet. The sentiment is from Butterfly Gala.
For Stamp Club we used Mint Macaron as the card base with a mat of Garden Green.
And here are the flags on the inside.
For Coffee and Cards we used Mossy Meadow as the card base and Pear Pizzazz for the mat.
And the inside.
I initially saw the card at Beccy’s site and changed the measurements to a card to fit our envelopes. Thank you for the inspiration Beccy.
The card base is 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″. Cut the Designer Series Paper 10″ x 5 1/2″ and score at 2″, 3″, 4″, 5″, 6″, 7″ and 8″. Crease your folds well. Line up the DSP on the left hand side of the card base and adhere with the Liquid glue.
Fold over the score lines and fold over, ensure the DSP is straight across the card base and add glue to the folded DSP (last 2″ section) and fold over the back of the card base to secure.
Punch 3 Whisper White circles using the 1 3/4″ Circle punch and stamp the leaf image from the Verdant Garden stamp set. Punch 3 Garden Green (for the first card) and affix the stamped circles onto these circles. Apply adhesive to the left hand portion of the circle and attach to the 3 flags. Line up the first one towards the top of the card, then line up the last flag towards the bottom of the card and then centre the middle one on the middle flag.
