Welcome Easter Baby Card

The Welcome Easter stamp set has three adorable images and sentiments including a sentiment for a baby card.  So my first card with this set is a sweet baby card using some of the 2019 – 2021 In Color products.

I made a flap card that is very quick and easy to put together.  If you need a quick card, this layout is very easy and adaptable in measurements  for the flap.

I used Rococo Rose for the card base and a sheet of the co-ordinating DSP.   I stamped the lamb on a Whisper White circle cut out with the fourth largest Layering Circle die.  I colored it with Light Smoky Slate, Light Rococo Rose, Light Seaside Spray and Ivory Stampin’ Blends.  Attach it to the Rococo Rose Scallop circle cut with the third largest scallop circle.

I adhered a piece of the 3 1/4″ x 4″ DSP onto the top panel of  a piece of Whisper White card stock cut 3 1/2″ x  8 1/2″ score at 4 1/4,

I wrapped a length of the Rococo Rose Scalloped Linen ribbon around the folded top layer of the Whisper White starting at the front and bringing it around to secure.  Add dimensionals to the Whisper White stamped image and adhere to the Rococo Rose scallop circle and then adhere to the front of the card.

Stamp Congratulations sentiment from Thoughtful Blooms on scrap Whisper White and punch out with the Classic Label punch and pop up with dimensionals.

Stamp sentiment on inside panel and add 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ strip of DSP to the bottom

You can also make a baby boy card using the Seaside Spray color and changing the character from this sweet set.

Card Measurements:

• Rococo Rose card stock:  Card base 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″, scrap for scallop circle die
• Whisper White card stock:  Flap 3 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ score at 4 1/4″, scrap for focal image and front sentiment
• Rococo Rose DSP:  3 1/4″ x 4″, 1/2″ x 3 1/2″
• Rococo Rose Scalloped Linen ribbon: 7 1/2″
